Barbara Schreiber is an Editorial Assistant at Encyclopædia Britannica, with a Master's degree in English Literature from Northwestern University.  Prior to joining the editorial staff at Britannica in 2001, she worked at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and at a video post-production facility.
