From 1968 to 1971 Pan Am accepted reservations for trips to the Moon, recording over 93,000 signups (including Ronald Reagan). As of 1989 the airline claimed to still have the list for when—not if—their commercial spaceflight program became available. Pan Am folded in 1991.
