Cornellà, city, Barcelona provincia (province), in the comunidad autónoma (autonomous community) of Catalonia, northeastern Spain. It is located on the Llobregat River plain. Dyes, pharmaceuticals, auto accessories, aluminum, and cotton goods are produced there. Cornellà is a southwestern industrial suburb of Barcelona city. Pop. (2008 est.) 74,140.
