Ceol
Ceol (died 597) was the king of the West Saxons, or Wessex. Ceol may have been related to Cutha, who was brother of King Ceawlin. After his victory over Ceawlin at Wodnesbeorg (Wiltshire), he reigned for five years. He was succeeded by Ceolwulf and then by Cynegils.
