Thomas Binney
Thomas Binney (born 1798, Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, Eng.—died Feb. 24, 1874, London) was an English Congregational minister who actively sought reunion with the Church of England. He brought his chapel services closer to those of the established church by introducing the chanting of psalms taken from the Authorized Version of the Bible.
