Mount Párnis

Párnis, MountLower slopes of Mount Párnis, Greece.

Mount Párnis, mountain massif just northwest of Athens, Greece. It rises to 4,636 feet (1,413 metres). Its slopes afford summer pasture and feature some forests of fir. A cable car carries visitors to a casino 1,000 feet (300 metres) below the peak.
