Alessandro Leopardi
Alessandro Leopardi (flourished 1482–1522, Venice [Italy]) was a metal founder, goldsmith, and architect best known for designing the base and completing the casting (from Andrea del Verrocchio’s model) of the bronze equestrian statue of the condottiere Bartolomeo Colleoni in Venice. He also is known to have worked as an architect and engineer.
