Paul Natorp (born Jan. 24, 1854, Düsseldorf, Ger.—died Aug. 17, 1924, Marburg) was a German Neo-Kantian philosopher, who represented the Marburg school in the philosophy of science and inquired particularly into its necessary presuppositions after the fashion of Kantian “transcendental logic.” He wrote Die logischen Grundlagen der exakten Wissenschaft (1910; “The Logical Bases of Exact Science”).
