Nostromo

Nostromo, novel by Joseph Conrad, published in 1904 and considered one of Conrad’s strongest works. Nostromo is a study of revolution, politics, and financial manipulation in a fictional South American republic. The work anticipates many of the political crises of Third World countries in the 20th century.
