Vasílikí ware
Vasílikí ware, elaborately shaped handmade pottery from Vasílikí, eastern Crete, produced in the second phase of the Early Minoan period (c. 3000–c. 2000 bc). The surface of the wares is covered with a red or brown semi-lustrous paint that appears mottled, an effect achieved by uneven firing.
