Borborema Plateau

Borborema Plateau, plateau of northeastern Brazil. It extends across central Paraíba and southern Rio Grande do Norte states. The plateau is a semiarid region covered by deciduous, thorny scrub woodland called caatinga. Rich mineral deposits are found on the plateau.
