David Remnick has published a number of books. His first, Lenin’s Tomb: The Last Days of the Soviet Empire, won a Pulitzer Prize. His later works include Resurrection: The Struggle for a New Russia (1997), King of the World: Muhammad Ali and the Rise of an American Hero (1998), The Bridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama (2010), and Holding the Note: Profiles in Popular Music (2023). He has also edited anthology collections of articles from The New Yorker.
