Sten Lindahl is Professor Emeritus of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. He graduated from the Medical School at the University of Lund, Sweden, in 1972. From 1986 to 1989 he served as consultant at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
