Symonds Yat, low-lying neck of land, 12 miles (19 km) south of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire unitary authority, Eng., in a great meander loop of the River Wye. Yat Rock (500 feet [150 metres]) to the south has a famous scenic view.
