A chondrichthian (class Chondrichthyes) is any member of the diverse group of cartilaginous fishes that includes the sharks, skates, rays, chimaeras, and their relatives. The class is one of the two great groups of living fishes, the other being the osteichthians, or bony fishes. This is a list of sharks, skates, rays, and relatives grouped by taxonomic order and ordered alphabetically. (See also fish.)
