Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios turned pro in 2013 and had a breakthrough match at Wimbledon the following year when, at age 19, he beat Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, who was then ranked number one in the world. The upset marked the first time since 1992 that a male player who was ranked outside of the top 100 (Kyrgios was ranked 144th at the time) beat a world number one at a Grand Slam event.
